PLEASE NOTE NEW PRACTICE TIMES BELOW!!
The Shakopee Mat Club provides a recreational wrestling program for
youth in grades PreK-6. Wrestlers will learn fundamentals of folkstyle and
freestyle wrestling. Wrestlers will be loaned a singlet and
headgear for the season. All participants will also receive a
Shakopee Wrestling T-Shirt.
The coaches for the
Shakopee Mat Club were all successful collegiate level wrestlers
including a National All-American,
with assistance from Shakopee Varsity Coaching Staff and of course
parents if they like!
The season starts in November and finishes with the MN/USA State
Tournament in March. You can also extend your season to learn
Freestyle techniques.
Tournaments are available most weekends and are not included in the fee.
Please bring wrestler to registration to be fitted with equipment.

Time: 6:15 pm - 7:00 PM
Who: Grades 1 & 2
When: Mondays, November 17--February
Time: 7:00 pm - 8:00 PM
Who: Grades 3-5
When: Tuesdays, November 18--February
Time: 6:30 pm - 8:00 PM
Who: All Ages
When: Thursdays, November 20--February
Time: 6:30-7:30 PM
Where: ALL PRACTICES HELD AT JR. HIGH WRESTLING ROOM UNLESS
OTHERWISE STATED
FEE: $100 @ Registration Night-Oct. 21 or Parent Night-Oct. 28
$125 after October 28
